I really like this site.

I have some of the pictures in my gallery of some of the images from it.

Some of the images are of nudity and some aren't.  I particularly like the elegance and respect given to the beauty of the women of these pictures, and the painstaking art of the bondage.  It's not just cheap ass Cinemax bondage porn . . . this is a photographic appreciate for what the art of bondage really is. 

I also love the stories that accompany many of the picture sets, as well.  They have links to other sites that have adult stories concerning bondage.  They are tasteful, elegant and a monument to both the women, the bondage, the photographer, and the writer.  They all come together quite nicely.

The Switch

There are people that are neither exclusively submissive or dominate. In role play with their partner (either a switch themselves, or a separate master/mistress and a slave) they change roles being either the dominate or top, or the submissive or "bottom".

I'll share a short story as to why I find this difficult to understand. Not an impossibility, just difficult to grasp.

I met a woman on the Internet, before I met my lady, who was a bisexual. Although I didn't know that when we first spoke (via the phone), it still was a surprise to me when she told me. Not that I found it offensive, just that I couldn't imagine being attracted to both genders. For me there is no attraction to men. I mean nothing! *Smile* Now women, that is another thing. Worship the form of the women, because it is a most beautiful sight. Anyway, I always use to joke with her that she was bisexual because she was just plain greedy; couldn't give up the penis, but who couldn't resist a woman's breast (as is my preoccupation with the female body).

So a switch is a foreign concept to me. Maybe it is because submissiveness comes so natural to me. I've cultivated it in my personality and day to day living without even hading know in. So when it came to a play with the opposite sex, why would it be any different. To give up oneself to another, one that is trustworthy, is a great privilege. I kneel at her feet, and worship her superiority. She is to be given all that she asks and without question. Nothing brings me a greater honor.

But a submissive/dominate relationship is also symbiotic. Neither the master/mistress or the slave can survive alone. Both needs each other's actions for the relationship to survive. So in honesty, it really is blurred as to who really holds the power. While the dominate hold the power in play (just in being the inflicter of the acts that the submissive receives), the submissive hold the power to stop the play with a safety word. Both need each other. Just as much as the submissive longs to give that control to the dominate, so the dominate longs to take that power from the submissive and use it to control them.

So a switch really is an amalgam of dominance and submissiveness. Carrying the desire for both. Whether that be because they haven't found which one they truly are . . . or as I kidded my friend, just greedy. Only that person understands why they are the way that they are.

Well I have finally found something to read after I finish "Hannibal Rising" (Thomas Harris). From the review I read it sounds quite interesting.
